@Not him again, the reason to do this is because it changes the strength curve of the exercise. Curls with weights are hardest in the middle of the movement and bands are hardest at the end of the movement. By combining them it gets hard about halfway through and stays hard. There’s a reason for it. Not something I usually do myself but it’s not nonsense. This guy is still a dumbass for stepping back so far.
