You mean find out they try to maintain a healthy lifestyle? How embarrassing
@theshadosnipe, as long as they do it single file, and on the right hand side of the road so they aren't blocking the people who are using the roads for the reason they are there. You know, cars
@BM Fahrtz, yea, I have seen a lot of bikers that seem to forget things like that
@BM Fahrtz, the right hand side of the road sounds good to me as I’m in the UK.
@BM Fahrtz, so in many US states it is legal for bicyclists to go down the road double file like that. And as someone that rides my bike to work almost every day in Atlanta it is actually safer for me to take up the whole lane because it forces cars to go to the next lane to go around me, which gives me extra space to ride safely. My least safe part of my ride is when I’m in the bike lane and cars are whizzing by a couple feet from me.
@BM Fahrtz, cyclists are more vulnerable than people in cars, so drivers need to yield to cyclists at all costs. But yes, there are those asshole cyclists that think this mantra and purposely blocks the roads. Coming from a cyclist and one that drives on a daily basis.
@BM Fahrtz, well here is the thing about that. Do you see a shoulder? No? Well my state law requires that bikes ride on the shoulder but when none is present they are required to posses the lane as if they were a car. Cars are required to treat them as such and pass only when legal. (The solid dotted line)
@BM Fahrtz, I mean I drive now but only because I got hit by some one pulling out without checking the bike lane and was almost hit by multiple cars going by. Too many people are shjtty drivers to complain about the few cyclists. I mean so what you had to wait 15seconds to get around someone
@theshadosnipe, I think it’s supposed to be a joke, I mean we are on a joke app....
@theshadosnipe, absolutely barbaric
Hey, Google “Ride of Silence” to see how many people die a year on their bicycles because of this extremely toxic sentiment. Yeah man, screw cyclists trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle and have a hobby. They’re in the way of my precious gas guzzling Earth destroying machine REEEEEEE
@LoveTheBomb137, wait, are you saying people en masse are trying to kill cyclists on purpose and that this is because hatred of them is popular on the internet?
@TomPholio, no... In general people have a negative outlook on cyclists. It’s not exclusive to the internet. When there’s a negative sentiment to cyclists then communities don’t strive to protect them.
And well you’d be shocked how many incidents are caused by road rage. People running cyclists off the road or driving by them as close as possible to scare them... I mean, if they did kill one, I’d say it was on purpose
@LoveTheBomb137, I have never hit a cyclist. I have come very close on a few occasions however cause some cyclist was driving down the center of the lane while another car is behind me and a third car is passing me to my left at the same time, meaning stopping is dangerous, going around would get me into an accident, and if something happens in that moment the cyclist walks Scott free
So... looking hot in Lycra is bad?...
*heavy breathing* and not the good kind either.
At least they’re worth 50 points according to my calculations
One thing my dad and I used to do when there was a race going on, we would haul manure and pass a group of riders that were being a$$holes and turn the spreader on completely covering the rider in dress cow sh!t
Buy a car you cheap bastard.
You mean clog up the roads with their gay bikes ?
Looking at another guys ass in lycra for hours... (A certain seal meme comes to mind)
