I have a blind friend and he said it’s complete bullshït about the other senses being heightened.
I tell him that’s something daredevil would say.
@x2 6x 9 lol, it’s not so much that the senses are “heightened.” That makes it seem like they’re
S U P E R E N H A N C E D.
It’s just that someone who loses one sense relies on the others more than the average person, therefore that person would gain more experience with them.
@Grybo, So it’s more like reallocating your skill points
@x2 6x 9 lol, my grandpa went blind, he said he had a better sense of smell after that, he could pretty much tell you were in the room even if you were quiet because we all "reeked of my mother"out of curiosity was your friend born blind? If so, he probably wouldn't even notice it.
@Duncan5769, he lost it when he was 30.
@x2 6x 9 lol, hm, either it's just a placebo effect, and a lot of blind people think they're experiencing heightened senses but aren't, or it just works differently for other people. My grandfather lost his when he was around 70
@x2 6x 9 lol, daredevil? Never seen it.
Bold of you to assume I do
