I had a pc about, let's say, erm, 18 years ago that looked almost the same as this but grey, from a company called gateway 2000 it was AMAZING I hated it

So this is a Patriot PC “Boys” edition that was issued in 1999 and retailed for $599 as a base model. They had upgrades that could bring the price up to almost $2k. It was a terrible computer with a faulty power supply and other peripherals that were bad. Many folks who pre ordered them never received their computer because of Q/A issues and the fact that Patriot PC went out of business a year later.
Anecdotal note: there was a girls edition the featured Barbie.
