I actually used to do Jiu-jitsu. I can confirm these statements firsthand
@A pet named Steve, same. Almost got my head involuntary yoga-d right off.
@A pet named Steve, does Ju-Jitsu work without clothes?
@Empshok, I was young when I began my training, and for emberassing moments like humping the boy straddling me while trying to break his hold in front if everybody, and coming to jiujitsu in anime underclothes reading manga despite only being filipina, I made it to a grey + two black stripes belt.
@A pet named Steve, Same! Did it for 9 years and hated every second XD
Glad I can still remember it though.
@Sambob, technically yes, but it's not as pleasant as that might sound. It'd actually be a lot more painful.
@A pet named Steve, I've been doing Brazillian Jiu Jitsu for about three months now. I hope to get my first stripe by the end of the month.
@FullMetalLewis, good luck! I didn't do Brazilian jiu-jitsu, our dans worked differently. But I imagine it's the same, as in the first dan/stripe is absolutely manageable after 1 or 2 tries. I'm sure you'll do great!!
@A pet named Steve, thanks 😊 realistically I'm more likely to get my first stripe at the end of the year than the end of this month. Don't know why I typed end of the month, I probably should have double-checked my comment before I post like I usually do 😂 From what I can tell people at my club tend to get their blue belts within 2 years so first stripe at the end of the year shouldn't be too much of a stretch.
@FullMetalLewis, tell me if you get your stripe! And again, good luck and I'm sure you'll do just fine! :D
@A pet named Steve, will do, and once again thank you. You have more faith in me than I do 😂
I mean I guess 😠
Skipping practice tonight due to mad sunburn on my legs. Lookin at you leglockers
I just imagined someone folding a shirt while someone was still in it and dislocating every bone in their arm and spine effortlessly and I burst out laughing
They cut off the third one.
