Me: *enters website*
Website: "hey, we noticed you are using and adblock. To see the contents of our site, please dis-"
Me: *leaves Website*
And the "may we send you notifications?" Bullshjt is almost equally as bad. Just let us surf the web in peace ya dinguses
@A pet named Steve, oh God the notifications. I actually turned them on for a site I liked but turned them off not even ten minutes later
@18bluecat, I turned off adblocker once for a site, and it was filled with so many ads it couldn't load the part of the page I actually came for
@A pet named Steve, here is a gizmodo article on how to disable notification requests.
@phalcon , nice! Thanks!
Ads would be ok if they didnt crash the fvcking website or take up too much space. If the site barely runs you have too many ads
Personally I don’t mind if a website asks me to disable Adblock but doesn’t force me to. Sometimes I actually do just so they can make some money. If a website won’t let me visit without disabling adblock I will refuse to turn it off on principle
I can hear this meme
You know what I'm not doing? Giving a fvck
