I almost hope this insanity actually happens purely for the finest display of mass darwinism since the invention of the warning lable. I know it won't, but let me have my fantasy
@Yourself, ill bring the popcorn
@Yourself, while that would be great I don’t want it to happen because the military is going to respond in the way they should protecting a military installation and people are going to die/get hurt and then everyone is going to complain about how harshly the military responded and I just don’t want to hear about it.
@Rowule, that’s exactly the point tho. The gene pool doesn’t need people who think charging an armed base for fun to contribute
@Yourself, I don’t think the memes/hype will last through August. Maybe if they planned it for. Sooner date
If you were in the military, and a tremendous amount of citizens of your own country tried to enter the base you were protecting, would you be able to now them down?
@ThePandaPool , if they were as stupid as they sound then yeah
@FunnyPicsHoldGuard, lets mow them down together 🤝
@ThePandaPool , I was in the army, I was Infantry in case you were wondering. And yes, if I had my orders to guard an area and let nobody in. You bet your ass. First general order is as follows. I will guard my post and everything within the limits of my post until properly relieved.
@ThePandaPool , anyone who would immediately say yes to this doesn’t understand liberty! And the irony is they are probably some of the ones who like to think they are the III%ers who would stand up to “tyranny”.
I fancy myself a libertarian in almost all cases, and the thought of a government mowing down its own people solidifies my choice in that realm.
@ThePandaPool , you wouldn't need to, the several thousand mines you set up days before would do the job just fine
@ThePandaPool , idk man, I’m kinda with Yourself on this one. It’s less about putting down my fellow Americans, and more about raising the national average IQ by a few points
@ Seductive Cheeto, thank you for the good laugh on a semi serious chat.
@UNconTROLLABLE, depends on what I'm protecting. Will people finding out potentially cost the lives of my fellow brothers in arms or undermined my family's safety by any potential enemy finding out said information? If yes to either I hope you made peace with your God. At the end of the day I fought and fight for those two things first and foremost. Every other person after those are secured.
@ThePandaPool , current active army. If it actually occurs there will most likely be isis members and foreign agency's trying to use it as an excuse to get in area 51 as well and it's a shoot on sight post so yes. The dangers of this action are made quite clear so I wouldn't trust the intentions of anyone rushing me
@ThePandaPool , let’s look at this seriously. It’s a base in a remote area 20 miles away from a small town in a desert with limited access points. Non-lethal intervention will disperse this before they get within eyesight of the base...
@ThePandaPool , it seems to me that it couldn’t exactly happen just as cold murder. Even if they didn’t have modern crowd suppressants, there would be a point where they (the citizens) are attacking you(the soldier), and you would be defending yourself.
@that crazy Marine, firstly; thank you for your service!
I’m not an anti military person, I do believe the armed services are a necessity to ensure the freedoms of our country (USA)
The only problem I have is blind allegiance.. in any form!
Of course our will want to protect you and your friends and family! As do I as a civilian.
What I was getting at was the ones who are all eager to shoot and “mow down” civilians just cause they are told to do so.
This is how we get SS.
@UNconTROLLABLE, so then whats your alternative of thay dis happen? Invite them in?
@ThePandaPool , its called escalation of force. Depending on how it happens, killing, is a last resort. But if the order is given, you follow.
@ThePandaPool , u.s soldiers : "Hey we dont wanna shoot civilians "
leader of a.51 : they all have oil in them
@ThePandaPool , you forget one detail. You wouldn’t be mowing down innocent civilians. You honestly believe people would rush in and not attack guards on the way? At that point it becomes a fight to stay alive while a mov starts beating or even killing your fellow coworkers just doing a job.
@ThePandaPool , my only worry would be that I would run out of ammo.
@Bobaganusche88, @Bobaganusche88, my understanding is that the word “decimate” does not mean to completely destroy but rather eliminate approx 10% (deci...). I believe the term evolved based on the fact that many early armies would collapse and retreat once 10% of their force was gone. Contrary to popular belief, most people don’t actually want to die and when shît gets too real, they start looking for a way out.
@Canis Arktos, that’s why you set up a pincer attack. Trap the sheeple and slaughter them.
Thing is, they all get there and all they'll find is a bomber designed in the 80s and a big box of velcro, that's all the US has
@butternut squash, shhh don't give away state secrets like that
Im from the UK and i reeeeeeally hope this actually happens just for entertainment purposes. GO USAAA
Oh hey, World War Z.
This movie was fvcking boring.
@SimonPetrikov, I just can't take zombie stories seriously, the only ones I have respect for are shawn of the dead, and George A. Romero's movies
Actually there are cameras and sensors all over the base and just before you enter the base for miles around. The second someone enters they will be swarmed by guys in jeeps.
Do I want to know what movie this is from? It looks like a zombie movie. (If it is that's why i don't recognize it)
@OopsIEsploded, world war z
I think I have an idea for a movie.
