@Al Harrington, I remember playing Pokémon red and beating the game without flash, and getting through that one cave by pallet swapping
NEC’s TurboExpress handheld system ate so much batteries. It takes 6 AA batteries that don’t last no more than an hour or so.
I worked out recently that when my Gameboy came out, a full set of 4 rechargeable batteries would have cost the same as £21GBP I'm today's money.
Don't forget the light you could attach to the side
