Am trying to get a friend into watching JoJo, the process of indoctrination is going well as now he's spouting JoJo quotes thanks to me constantly quoting them
@depressedaf, you're doing God's work, friend
@depressedaf, I've done the same with my nephew, after finally getting to the start of part 3 (while still watching parts 1 & 2. I didn't raise no part skipper) he's completely hooked. Best part is that I get to rewatch jojo with someone who hasn't seen it before and getting to see his reactions to the bizarre world of JoJos for the first time.
(Edit: removed the random word "eat" out of there, And added to the last sentence.)
@depressedaf, good job, comrade. I'm showing season 3 to my brothers but I have to skip all the really violent parts cause they're 8 and 9 haha
@depressedaf, Toonami got me into Jojo. I watched every episode dubbed. When DIU finished, I binged Golden Wind. Waiting for my bro to finish it so we can talk about it. I'm going through Stardust Crusaders again, subbed this time, and just made it to the battles in Egypt arc.
@depressedaf, my friend is currently trying to do the same to me but I cant get into it
@JustCallMeCozy, I started on part 5 after watching YouTube videos of the torture dance. then I watch part 4 (my favorite), and it finally got me into JoJo. But I still cannot enjoy part 1 & 2. The reason why it took me years to actually watch JoJo is because I couldn't go past episode 1.
@mayora13, oh dude you gotta watch parts 1, 2, And 3! Part 1 is only 9 episodes long, part 2 is so fun on its own with its nuts situations and amazing protagonist (my personal favorite), and part 3 is just something on a whole 'nother level. It definitely enhances the entire jojo experience. It just raises the bar if you've been through it all. Give it a watch if you have the time, I highly recommend it. And hey, after you finish the first parts, you have an excuse to rewatch parts 4 and 5! :D
@SpankieMcGee , at first I just didn't care about it too, my brother kept recommending me it and I just didn't felt like watching. Then I gave it a try and ended up binge watching it all the way until part 4 in 4-5 days lol. Personally the artwork and the voice actors got me hooked. I watched subbed and they just sound like they are having a blast, specially for dios voice actor
@JustCallMeCozy, I hope they can get through part 4's first half. I found it kinda boring and it just dragged on with what it felt like filler, thankfully Kira made up to it in the second half
@A pet named Steve, also remember to skip the ape with the ship stand episode for FBI reasons and the one where Polnareff gets turn in to a kid.... For similar reasons lol
@depressedaf, well they already watched the one with the ship lol. The one with Polnareff... Yeah Inna skip that j think. But mostly because the embryo thing might be traumatising for them. For the rest, they're too young to properly see any bad meaning in that haha. Or so I hope.
@Mattizzle9, I hope you enjoy it subbed as it's my preferred way to see it. I am not a subbed elitist that hates dubbed, but with this show I missed when in the English versions the characters weren't being over the top with their lines :(
@A pet named Steve, mean, the lady gets undressed with him and touches his silver chariot as he makes a weird face so I dunno lol
@depressedaf, I'm familiar with it subbed due to memes and videos on youtube. And I enjoy it either way. Jotaro and Dio both sound great to me, subbed and dubbed.
@depressedaf, I agree that it's weird haha. But my bros are prolly to small to understand that. But like I said, I'll probably skip the episode or at least most of it.
Me with The Witcher 3 video game.
I just finished the first story line of the Adventure Zone so I very much feel this way
Firefly. Dollhouse. Hex. (sigh)
