Except Assassin's Creed where it insta kills ya for being seen
@TheStarHawk, only the old ones, since Origin you could pretty much roll up like it's a Sylvester Stallone movie
@WhyNotBoth, I got Origin and Odyssey during a Steam Sale back in April, but still haven't played them cos I've been out of town for work, so no PC.
@TheStarHawk, they're both pretty good gameplay-wise but lack the character depth of previous ACs. Odyssey is really good tho, it's like a Witcher game in terms of gameplay so you can choose to stay stealthy like old games or run up to forts like you're in the movie 300
Oh no. It’s so terrible. Guess I have to have fun now
Metal gear solid 5
I'm playing through Metro Last Light again and am trying to get the "good" ending. I've knocked out many more people than I've killed. Stealth is the only option in my case
I never tried’
Sniper elite 4
I got to the Yiga Clan hideout in Breath of the Wild, all excited that I finally get to fight the cvnts who have been mildly irritating all games.
Nope, it's a fvcking stealth mission. I generally hate stealth in games, I think Dishonored and Skyrim are the only games I've actually enjoyed stealth in. But Breath of the Wild's stealth system just doesn't flow well with the action/adventure focused gameplay. Only other time I've used stealth is in getting the Sand Seals. And now, instead of a cathartic battle, the AC Revelations'd it by forcing me to use a mechanic I hate in a situation that would've been more fun as a straight up fight.
The Revelations mechanic I hated was the tower defense nonsense, btw.
More like on the "stealth optional" missions.
