Idk about anyone else, but toys r us was never my childhood. Everything there was overpriced.
@Weird Porn Stash, I think I went to 1 in my entire life.
@Weird Porn Stash, part of it was your parents take you up there to get 1 thing that’s prob for someone else but you spend 3 hrs running around playing with everything in the store
@Weird Porn Stash, toys r us was the childhood for people who weren't broke growing up
@Weird Porn Stash, I spent maybe two saturdays there back when they did Pokémon TCG meet ups about twenty years ago. I don’t think I’ve ever spent hardly a dime there, elsewise. Mainly because anything they sold was about a 1,000 dime minimum, and I could go literally anywhere else for better prices.
@Weird Porn Stash, i didnt understand what price was growing up so the cost was indifferent to me. Whether my parents could afford it or not is indifferent too. That store still contained everything i cared about as a kid, even if i didnt get to something home
@Berntley, for me it was yugioh. It was a way to get some rare cards like Machine King that was good at the time but sucks in retrospect. I still remember someone wanting to trade one of my Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer cards for a Twin Headed Behemoth. I felt like Ash when someone wanted his Butterfree except I refused to accept because I loved my cards
@PunnyBaker, Well yeah, I didn’t understand it either. But I never went to it because we couldn’t afford it.
🎶Its the circle of life!🎶
Anyone else here old enough to remember kiddie city ? Where they turned those frowns upside down
@Randy Lorde Marsh , I can't remember Kiddie City but I remember Kay*Bee Toys. That place was almost heaven for me, every toy a kid could want.
Toys r us will be back soon!
I feel bad for you guys, we’ve still got a toys R us in my city and it’s still doing really well.
@LilyFlowar, thats what we thought too but ours just closed down last year. Yours will have its time eventually im sure
