I have never in my life had a dream... or at least remembered having a dream...
okay so I have a couple of dreams that I have had that I found really cool. I think my favorite was when I was attending a school that used elevators just to get to the school yard, then you had to get onto another elevator that took you to a platform that would slide you like those slide elvator tubes from the last area of pokemon coliseum. only it was kind of a monorail type deal. Anyways it was the target of a terrorist attack.
last night i had a dream i was the slowest runner at a football training camp and i had to do push-ups while miley cyrus punched me in the balls
I swear my subconscious does this just to fjck with me. Always got to time it so Im left on a cliff hanger
@SpankieMcGee , Your mind will sometimes pause a dream without your awareness when it can't figure out where to take you next, so you wake up feeling like you were suddenly cut off when really you just lack the creativity necessary to go any further. Either that, or your dream degrades into spontaneous nonsense as your subconscious gives up on narrative cohesion and your logical mind quickly forgets this part upon waking.
@Yourself, so you're telling me that I'm an unimaginative idiot? Sounds about right
@Yourself, you say that, but how could anyone actually know that? There's no way to actually study it, even if you measure brain activity
@18bluecat, To be fair, these are just the popular theories that make sense given:
1. observable brain activity patterns paired with...
2. what little we know about how the brain selectively remembers parts of dreams (being that we tend to forget the illogical bullshjt), and...
3. testimonies of the patients being studied.
Apologies for making it sound any more concrete than it is.
