I had a dream today that a sentient cat an I shared a muffin while I was taking a driving lesson... this made me remember it.
@A pet named Steve, have you picked a name for it yet?
@A pet named Steve, taking hallucinogenics, Steve? Because if so, please share with the app lmao
@Janky McSkanky, smuffin
@The Landshark , no I just have weird dreams lol. Hear this. Two days ago I dreamt that I was a baroness that was walking down the street when the zombie apocalypse broke out, and I hid in a gas stop together with a kindergarten. They had lots of supplies, even stuff like dried rainworms for some reason. We kept intruders at bay by giving them a cursed fennel-flavored snickers that always respawned in our locker. At some point, a secret agent showed up because her boss wanted Viagra pills from the gas stop. Anyway the apocalypse was over after some years and I thought of going back to being a baroness but I realized I wanted to live in the gas stop together with the kindergarten people. Also, when my phone alarm rang I was absolutely convinced that my phone was the cursed fennel-snickers. Dreams like this one happen a lot to me... Now I wonder what they would be like if I took hallucinogenics? Maybe just normal dreams lol
@A pet named Steve, that's fvcking awesome. My dreams are usually pretty normal except for one time when I got home from drinking with friends (and having watched Inception a few days prior). My dream was basically normal life, I'd gone through the day, the week, the year as if everything was normal, even graduated high school. Then I woke up in my bed and realised that was one of the most realistic dreams I'd ever had. I then went through the day, week, etc, this time reaching college, having been in a serious relationship, etc. And then I woke up in my bed again. Needless to say, I was paranoid for weeks about whether or not this is all a dream
@The Landshark , oh those are amazing, the ones that let you question reality. It's really interested what our brain does to us. But it's crazy that you lived through so much if your life in your dream, for me it's usually a short span of time or with huge time jumps in between
@The Landshark , I wonder if video games influence dreams, like where inception influenced your dreams. Cause last week I had a dream where I defended my U-boat from native Americans, and I had a health bar displayed. Sometimes I press F9 in my dream to reload. And rarely I even get subtitles lol
@A pet named Steve, oh ho ho, videos games affecting a persons brain?! Anyway yeah I’ll have weird spin off dreams on occasion like if I’m really into a game and super hyped but have to go to sleep, I might get my own weird dream campaign kinda, if that makes sense
@A pet named Steve, so little lamplight from fallout 3 but as a gas station.
@Richard Cypher, that's so cool! Fo you also have the thing where when you play for a really long time and go to bed, you start seeing the HUD?
@M0RT0S, nah therr were Kindergarteners too haha. But yeah there definitely were similarities
@A pet named Steve, sometimes when I play Civ for so long I dream everything in hexagons.
@Waffles, lmao that's actually super interesting. I wish I'd dream in pixel art from time to time. Sometimes I have video game glitches and bugs, and a "dream keyboard" which I can use. Man imagine a video game dream, but lucid. You'd literally be in a video game, well, sort of.
@A pet named Steve, I lucid dream a lot but my stupid brain is too rational to let me try and fight a colossus or fly around or anything fun like that. Last night I had a dream I went fishing with a bunch of guys, and then a kraken grabbed a guy off the boat and we were all like “damn”... and kept fishing.
@Waffles, holy shjt haha that poor dude. I like how calm you all were though, just like "oh wow.". I could actually see that in a sketch or something haha
I lucid dream quite a lot too and from time to time I actually manage to do cool stuff. I rode a giant, fuzzy, snakelike dragon once! Flyingis my favourite thing to do, apart from amazing people with magic tricks and telling them were actually in a dream lol. And once I even hugged Arthur Morgan. Dreams are great.
@A pet named Steve, dreams are great! I really wish I could bring myself to fly but once I get into a dream it just doesn’t seem so important when I’m asleep. I think I’ll try again tonight, I’ll spend all day thinking about flying to try influence myself at night.
Do you know any good flying games?
@Waffles, superman 64
Ok seriously though, I don't really know a good flying game... Perhaps space games with no man's sky or elite dangerous. Otherwise, flight simulators. Or vr games of course, if you got the equipment.
@A pet named Steve, did you have any good dreams last night?
@Waffles, sadly no. I slept like 4 hours, and bit very well since I was nervous because of a trip. I forgot most of what I dreamt, too. :(
@A pet named Steve, I’m the same, I completely forgot all my dreams after a little bit. Where are you on a trip to?
@Waffles, I'm visiting my mom in Bremen, and on Saturday we'll drive to Norway! We're driving through Denmark and Sweden too, I'm very excited, I've never been there before. Can't wait to get some Swedish meatballs with Marmelade.
@A pet named Steve, that sounds like a lovely trip, and I bet you mum will love to see you. How long are you away for?
@Waffles, the Norway trip is about two weeks, but I'll stay in Bremen a bit longer afterwards, though I have no idea how long haha
