I'm convinced that Apple are slowly making changes to make the worst product possible, because they know it will sell anyway
@Emaciations, when you have fanboys you can do whatever you want. One of the kardashians can take a poop and put it for sell for a grand... sadly someone will buy it
@seeUpee, only a grand?
@WelI Obviously, you are right! They would pay way more
So I preordered one for my wife and I today.. first thing I said after the presentation was I wasn’t going to get it 😩
So? The sheep of the human zoo will still eat it up like slop. If anyone took 20 minutes to fvck around with and explore what the phones can do, they'd see that apple just makes you their bitch. I could fvckin play N64 games on my s6 edge and now I got a Google pixel can do the same shjt. And for that matter I can also play NES, snes, all the Gameboys, neo Geo and even psp games ffs.
Tl;Dr iPhones suck because they're so fvcking restrictive about what you can do with them and the only draw I've heard iPhone users is that "it's simple to use". Educate yourselves mfs, understand the potential that your pocket computers actually have.
Sorry, rant over.
@GayShjtSniper, this is terrible logic. But ok. It’s your opinion. But it’s a terrible opinion. I’m a big geek and I grew up around tech stuff since forever. I found that most people with time on their hands and young and dumb get the Android phones. Everyone else that just wants a phone usually get an iPhone. I’ve seen several Android die hard fans few years ago are now jumping on iPhone. I remember all the same dumb argument. One friend in particular boasted about animated backgrounds. Later by guilt to admit they turned it off for battery life. Another gamer friend boasted about emulators. Again later to admit they don’t play it often, too many bugs, it’s more fun on console, and they’re too busy to play games even on the road. They were just “happy” that they can play games they never play on their phone. Another friend spent his entire weekend fixing his Android because he overloaded it with software that wasn’t approved and had to reset and reinstall. Again, time on his hands.
@GayShjtSniper, and I’m sure things have improved and some things are worse, but many Android friends often complained about many crashes and software glitches they had to reset their phone at least once a day. But the reasoning still stands: You’re dumb to think that just because you can do “x” with your phone it means it’s a better value. This is completely false. Rather, if you like to play emulators on your phone a lot of hours a day and you have time to deal with any hiccups, an Android is better suited for you. That makes more sense than “sheep” rhetoric.
@GayShjtSniper, Someone sounds like an angry edgelord. Guess what no one cares about your opinion and not everyone cares that you can play some Nintendo game on your phone. Some people just want a phone that’s reliable that does what most phones do nowadays. I had droids for a while and all of them were terrible so speaking from experience my IPhone definitely an improvement.
@MrTrivia, I agree that he went a little overboard by calling people dumb(But then you go and do it?) . But he isn't wrong. Androids have a much broader range of abilities, and more customization options. If you get a good brand, and model, then you won't have any more issues than an iPhone. (I've used Samsung Galaxy's which work just like an iPhone, but with more options.)
The actuality is that "Young and Dumb" people just go and buy iPhone, because they are told they are the "Best". That's why they waste their money on Mac's as well.
It's cool that you know people who know, or have used some things, but admitted to not really using them, but that doesn't bolster your argument at all.
Some people do dumb things kn their phones, yeah, their fault. But the thing is, unlike Apple, with an Android, you can take those chances.
Also, I'm kind of doubting you being a big geek, seeing as the majority of geeks are not fans of Apple products, for various reasons.
@sgtpepper47, I'm guessing you used some of the worse brands of Android, which gave you the bad taste, making you think iPhones are superior.
But, just like Trivia, you are using Anecdotal evidence to try and bolster your argument, which it doesn't.
@Thatoneguymayknow, another wrong opinion. I’m playing Siege so I’ll come back later. If I care.
@Thatoneguymayknow, #1, yeah I’m gonna call people dumb too. I never said I was a saint or claimed to be. #2, More Customization doesn’t equal better. I’m an IT. I’ve done software engineering and networking to just troubleshooting. The more configuration options, the more bugs. I work for a software company and the more features we introduce the more issues. Same went for my android friends. That’s why they’re on iOS now. I never claim one is better than the other. It depends on how you use it and what you want. It’s very simple minded and one track to believe that more customizability means it’s better. It’s like users can’t think beyond repercussions. Like animated backgrounds that drain more battery. And is that really the highlight of features? Something animated therefore better? Simple minded. Emulators? I have emulators on my pc, mobile games on my iphone, and new games on my PS4. I ain’t worried that I can play Mario 64 on my iOS. I beat it and played it 100 times. Done.
@MrTrivia, You assume that I was saying Androids are better. I'm simply arguing that there are differences, without being worse.
It is entirely up to preference, if you want something easy to use, and straightforward, get an iPhone. If you want something with a much broader range of options, then go Android. It's simple. I don't disagree there.
You really need to read what others say, because you are thinking I'm saying Androids are better, but I never said that.
However, I will address something I overlooked. Apple does have "Sheep" they release a phone with no real changes, or one little change, and everyone buys it. That is what Sheep do.
Apple is always claiming to have a "Revolutionary" new feature, but it's always something Android has had before, and/or for a long time.
But people still eat that up. They are Sheep.
I would also ask you this. If a car has more options, features, capabilities, would that make it better than one that has less? - - - -
@MrTrivia, Even if some of those features aren't perfect, and are less reliable, one could say that the car with more features is better, for having those extra options.
@Thatoneguymayknow, it’s just weird that there’s 500 different models of Droid and only maybe 5 are actually good.
@sgtpepper47, That's because their are different brands, and different models varying in prices to make things more affordable, and with different options, come with different features.
It's not weird, it's a Free Market.
You can choose to spend $2000 on a new iPhone, or $1000 on a new Galaxy, or $70 on an LG. For different markets, come different prices, and features.
