@Tentastic, So THAT'S why my teeth look like broken glass
@Tentastic, you da real MVP
@Tentastic, what a load of crap. Are you just trying to sell those toothpaste lol. Please don’t put your conspiracy stuff on this app.
@Rookie Mistake, this seems needlessly antagonistic haha the guy said to buy them from amazon. Unless he’s the only seller of those three brands there’s no way he’s benefitting from this comment. And if you don’t think that industry leaders have suppressed new technology for the sake of their own interest, you’re objectively wrong. Like it’s a matter of history that it’s happened before. Look up the Phoebus cartel with lightbulbs. Not saying that’s for sure what’s happening here, but it’s for sure happened.
@MemeResearcher, I think it’s more likely for him to be selling the toothpaste then a huge conspiracy about toothpaste lol and get your other conspiracy out of here too ha
@Tentastic, have you tried any of those brands personally/recommend a a particular one? I’m open to trying something new.
@Rookie Mistake, after one easy google search, i've "proven" the ""conspiracy.""
Big name toothpaste brands do not have enamel remineralizing compounds, brands like apagard do.
@Doctor Walrus, ya well I’ll trust my best friend who’s a dentist and charges me for nothing lol he has studied way more than your 2 second google search
@Rookie Mistake, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoebus_cartel. Read friend. Arm yourself with knowledge.
@MemeResearcher, the line “get your other conspiracy out of here” was a joke lol I know nothing about lightbulbs and will not pretend I do.
@Tentastic, dentistry as a whole is pretty crooked
@Rookie Mistake, ah got it haha sorry, I didn’t pick up on the sarcasm
@MemeResearcher, and just to add some my friend that’s a dentist said we need fluoride and that many dentist have tried to get cities to add that to their water, but of course many think that that is Conspiracy to and that it will actually make our teeth worse lol. Many cities who have actually added fluoride have seen improvements in their dental care
@Rambunc, premio so far is amazing. Tooth sensitivity is nearly gone and the low concentration of mint makes it so much easier to brush. And apagard makes premio by the way.
From amazon took 2 weeks to order, costly but well worth it
Tentastic is unaware of remineralizing toothpastes available in the US. Recaldent, Clinpro (and many others) are available, and made by your big name companies. The mineral lost due to cavities (by acidic erosion) is calcium. Fluoride prevents cavities by making the teeth more resistant to the acids (from food/bacteria). Calcium phosphate is the common ingredient added to replace the lost calcium. No conspiracy, just education and marketing. I’ve talked with Johnson and Johnson, and they say they sell what sells (business 101).
@Cringer, so should I stay with aqua fresh or switch?
@Zoopercar, Aquafresh is an excellent toothpaste. To quickly get to the point: if your salivary (spit) glands are healthy, you’re not snacking on carbohydrates every 2-3 hours, and you floss and brush your teeth before sleeping...you will develop few to no cavities (I’m not gonna promise 100%, but it is likely).
A small amount of toothpaste (pea sized or even smaller), spit the excess out and dont rinse or eat afterwards. Just go straight to bed, you’ll have fewer cavities.
@Cringer, thanks mate
And the one out of ten is silenced once again...
name 5 toothpaste brands
@Glossary , Colgate... um...
