Interesting fact: Humans didn’t domesticate cats, they did it themselves. Basically, once human civilization was advanced enough to practice agriculture, these fur balls started showing up to eat all the pests that were eating crops (i. e. mice). They decided to stick around with us afterwards since we were taking good enough care of them, and thus we have the domestic cat.
