That’s kind of what the stars are in the elder scrolls universe.
@Weird Porn Stash, One of my favorite things about Oblivion was traveling at night, especially in the Shivering Isles. Seeing the stars and nebulas painted pink across the night sky while Auriel's Ascent played was...magical.
@Weird Porn Stash, they're more like holes to different dimensions in elder scrolls lore iirc
@Thatbright, They’re holes to aetherious, the realm of the gods, specifically. They were torn open when a bunch of the gods that didn’t want to lose all their power bailed on the creation of mundus. The sun is the biggest one left over from magnus. And supposedly, the magic of aetherious leaks though it and that’s why mundus has magic.
And that’s how the Flying Ace was born.
Yare yare daze Charlie Brown.
Why does the sun come up, or are the stars just pinholes in the curtain of night?
