Isn't there a law to protect agaist this?
@The Flame War, I think this is more what it "feels like" working an extra shift vs taking one off.
@Gallium , I think you're right. Cause I'm part time so I get sick pay
@Gallium , yeah it is. But this is technically true bc of taxes.
@The Flame War, no overtime give gets extra taxes. So it not really making too much more. Bus losing time hurts like a bitch.
@tylersmileyface, taxes r a bitch the more u make the more u lose when I first started working I was making like 420 a week and one week I did a ton of ot which is time and a half I worked like 30 hours ot on top of my usual 40 hours so almost 2 full weeks in 1 and when I got paid I only got just under $700 I was so pissed
@sgc6610, yeah its garbage. It should be a flat tax based on increments. Not a flat rate percentage. Although that could harm other things i suppose
@The Flame War, I work full time with overtime pay so this is opposite for me
Get a real job with sick time noob
Self employed... can’t relate... call in sick to myself equals $0.00
When you work overtime you get taxed more.
