Sounds like somebody who's been to, at most, 1 town in the US.
@Empshok, As someone who's been to every state and most major cities. It's actually pretty accurate. If your town isn't on a grid system it's probably pretty old and is now the minority
@mazemarble, maybe downtown, but I feel like there's a lot of urban sprawl in suburban areas with poorly planned roads that don't make sense
@Tsaltydog, I actually just learned that a lot of these seemingly-unplanned roads were intentionally made to be “cul-de-sacs,” which is basically where they make the streets complicated to force people to drive slower. I prefer the grid system a million times more, but I guess there is some logic to cul-de-sacs.
Anyway, I just learned this and can’t offer much information on it, but I thought it was interesting.
You have clearly not been to Boston. Or really most cities in the US.
@singrgrl922, like new Orleans
Come to south Carolina, I dare you
So a clusterfvck. Kinda like your flag.
Pittsburgh checking in. If you don’t get killed in one of our 7-way intersections the ground will just swallow you instead.
Pretty sure if I drove a 1/4 mile without turning my steering wheel, I'd impact 127 trees. But okay
Come try out Austin Texas traffic, where boys become men.
Rule Britannia! 🇬🇧
This just sounds like Murcia with extra steps.
@Dyslexic eman resu, I too agree this sounds like a large city in Spain
