I forget how Savage gravity falls was sometimes
@Spartan Adlai, I’m still trying to figure out how they got the ancient sins blood leaking part of Northwest Mansion Mysteries past censors seriously how
@eleven, I remember first watching that scene and asking the same thing. From what I've seen from their unaired pilot used to sell to networks, the show was definitely intended to be geared towards a more adult audience, but ultimately sold its soul to the mouse.
@Marie Celeste, not really from what I saw aside from book of the damned everything I saw was about on point in a little less refined for the show proper and let’s be honest the Journals are a much better concept than a knock-off Necronomicon
@eleven, the humor was definitely pointing towards an older audience. Luckily we live in a time where children's TV is getting a lot smarter about it's writing (for the most part) so the line between children's an adult's entertainment that doesn't rely on swearing or outright adult oriented jokes is blurring. They were clever on making the pilot appeal to anyone and everyone but there was definitely a tinge of "we can make this more adult oriented." Especially when Kristen Schaal is voicing a character (and stuck with it because she really loved the character of Mabel). If you have seen any of her comedy sets she is definitely about saying very raunchy things. It's why I was very surprised she would be connected to a Disney show. It also shows how awesome she is that she could go from voicing Mabel to Louise on Bob's Burgers, for a while at the same time.
Not after the savagery he inflicted upon this pussy
