Practice gun safety. Don’t be these people.
@I Are Lebo, some of those people are firing the 700 nitro... So yeah...
@I Are Lebo, also practice spelling.
@Bobaganusche88, waht do you mene? I spellt it prefectly.
Guns are great
@ImNotRacistBut, yes. Yes they are
@ImNotRacistBut, not a huge fan of them myself but I will always applaud stupid people getting hurt
@eleven, why aren’t you a fan of them? Most people I know who didn’t like guns, family members included, took the time to learn about their mechanics, safety, best practices and then how to shoot and now enjoy it.
@ImNotRacistBut, I just wasn’t raised with them my mother hates them we have baseball bats instead besides I always liked things like knives, bows, and swords more my favorite games series is zelda oh and we were taught basic gun safety by scout shooting ranges
@eleven, get into it some more. You’ll find many aspects of it pleasing, even therapeutic.
@ImNotRacistBut, I’ll think about it
Guns are good
@Kliment Voroshilov, or liberachi
@ORGANIC, Also yes
I think it is highly unethical to knowingly give someone a firearm that is oversized for them. it's just plain dangerous.
@Jkmiii, for the most part, they aren't oversized. They just don't know how to properly hold/shoot them
@Jkmiii, yeah, honestly these people are clearly inexperienced and should have:
A. Been started on something lighter and easier to shoot like a .22LR rifle or AR-15 to learn the mechanics and then moved up
B. Somebody should have taken the time to help them secure the butt into their shoulder/make sure they use two hands to secure the weapon, get a more aggressive posture, and maybe even stand directly behind them to help them with the recoil if they are of a lighter build
I'm actually going to the range with a buddy of mine tomorrow. He is bringing a couple of his guns I've never shot before. I'm hoping I don't make an idiot of myself.
@ORGANIC, just hold on tight amigo
@edman629, I've shot guns before, just none that were that big
@ORGANIC, ear pro. i was stupid enough to shoot a .300 win mag blackout without ear pro, my ears were fvcked for a full-a$$ month. theres still a pitch that sounds kinda wrong
@ORGANIC, honestly, start small. .22 caliber firearms are super fun. Try bigger things when you get a solid grip on trigger discipline and the business end of the gun itself. You can find some ranges for practice. Use dummy ammo to practice loading and unloading your raifu. Be safe and have fun.
@SirLordKraftDinner, I have multiple firearms. I've just never shot anything bigger than a .223/5.56
@ORGANIC, I won't lie, the first time I shot my dad's 410 I was 7, and it hit me in the face, bc we were out and I was set up from him teaching me how to shoot the SKS (7.62). Its a lot different with a shotgun of any kind though, because the amount of powder isn't too far off from one another, but the rate that it expands is.
After a few mags with the sks, I picked that up, and he was down at the other end of the range. I figured I knew what I was doing, but nope. I didn't let it out of my hands though, and it hurt like hell. Keep in mind this was 25 years ago at a hoosier shooting range where they let 7 year olds around unattended guns. But it taught me a great lesson: don't buy a gun if you don't get trained on how to shoot it first.
Every gun I buy I take to a certified range and get tips (and obviously shoot it), because chances are good the people who work there have seen it in action before.
Guns are life
@Belteshazzar, guns are death
@benderama, banderama is dumb
A reporter, while interviewing a Marine sniper, asked: “What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?”
The Marine shrugged and replied: “Recoil.”
@JDPhi, that joke is so old George Washington laughed at it
I love the one where the woman fires the shotgun and it just slides right outta her hands so smoothly and lands like 10 feet behind her
This is why you keep the stock tight against your shoulder
if they can’t hold a live 2 foot Bass in their hands without it wiggling around a bunch, then they’re not ready to fire a two handed gun.
Gun control: these folks lack it.
Gun training is good and great.
You know...I got nothing...
Guns are bad
Fleble sniplek flooble
See I just said something of equal value to your thing
@benderama, guNZ aRe BAd *drools*
My mom got a black eye years ago because she put her eye right up to the lens on the scope on an ar
Funnier in person... bring tp.
Gun safety is no joke
People are dumb, maybe it would be a good idea not to hand them guns
Can you do sandstorm with machine guns
