Do you even BRRRRT bro?
@Gladiator, your gun may go bang bang or pew pew but my gun goes-
*The sound of a thousand years of plains thunder compressed into 30 seconds of sustained, unrelenting death*
@LowGravitasWarning, I thought it was more like an epic belch
@Gladiator, My dad helped engineer the Vulcan minigun on the nose of the A-10. He described the spinning of the barrels like running water.
@FurriesRuinEvrything, wow your dads way cool! He helped engineer the GAU-8 Gatling? The GAU-8’s are amazing. The A10 is the convenient carry case for this gun.
There are two kinds of fighter jets in this world, the F-22 and targets
@Sick Boy, Gotta love me a raptor in the skies
@ Tobias Widower, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with one of the men that helped design and build the F-22. Amazing piece of technology and a crew of ridiculously smart people
Where does the SR-71 fall into this?
@ThePandaPool , it's there, you just cant see it
@ThePandaPool , SR71 is my most favorite plane. She’s sexy as hell, and able to outrun missiles. One of the most beautiful products ever to emerge out of Skunkworks. Unfortunately, we don’t use her anymore since satellites took the jobs away from reconnaissance aircrafts, and she’s very costly to keep running.
@Diabolik, she also suffered from a few major design flaws, like having to take off on a half tank and needing to refuel in order to make those crazy long distance flights. On a full tank she was to heavy and burned too much fuel getting to cruising. Pilots were at risk of exhaustion from flying that long, and satellite imaging rendered it obsolete far too quickly.
@ThePandaPool , the SR-71 is Kevin Spacey
@ThePandaPool , it's been retired you idiot. And these are all fighters/attack aircraft. SR-71 is a recon plane. So it doesn't apply to this picture. Learn your aircraft before posting ignorant shjt.
@Butthurt Commenter, I dont forsee this gimmick working well for you.
@ThePandaPool , this isn't a gimmick. I genuinely don't care about you or your daughter or your stupid comments.
@Butthurt Commenter, look up the A-12.
@Butthurt Commenter, sure it isnt. You just made an account with that name to go around getting nasty with people because you're such a nice guy.
That’s an f-15b at best
I'd eat the F-16 for dinner and save the sweets for dessert.
Looking at you, A-10 😏
As a Navy guy I gotta be super hornet all the way. That is a sexy aircraft
F-20 Tigershark - Your Mom
Laughs in F-14
You mean the Puma?
Canadian checking in, wish with all my heart the avro arrow project didn't get scrapped the way it did. By design spec, and the flights of the few that were built, they would have performed well into the modern day, supersonic, highly maneuverable, and with updated avionics, they would have stayed modern. But no, Canada doesn't need its own jets, we'll just buy hand me downs, when we have some of the most airspace in the world.
@ Tobias Widower, the problem with the avro project was that the design and production team were HEAVILY infiltrated by KGB spies. The Canadians and Americans found out and didn’t want anymore production secrets falling into soviet hands m, so they canceled it well into it’s design life.
@ Tobias Widower, no the arrow would not have performed well into the modern day. Not a chance.
@phalcon , highly maneuverable, mach 2 capable interception fighter? Puts it on par in my mind with the classic f-18, and it's mig counterparts. Upgrade the avionics suite and boom.
@phalcon , *edit* glitched second reply
@ Tobias Widower, it wasnt highly maneuverable, it was designed to go fast in a straight line. Its sole mission was to intercept russian bombers.
