Back in my day, we didn't even have feet! We had to borrow 'em to get to school.
Not gonna lie. When I was a kid, my mom walked us to the corner where the school bus picked us up. That walk DID suck because we had to cross a very busy street and cars didn't care if you were crossing. Other than that, smooth sailing. The walk was about 2500ft from our townhouse, so not too shabby. This was early 90s btw.
@tha5th, my grade school was on the opposite corner of the same block my parents house was on, so about halfway through 1st grade, I walked myself to school. Also very early 90s
1 mile in three feet of snow uphill in both directions
They did walk ∞ miles to school and they were healthier for it.
@Cave Dweller, some say they’re still walking to this day
Top left photo is of someone deep water solo climbing in Phuket bay, Thailand. I'm hoping to take a trip there and do just that next fall!
@jouze, do you free solo? If so holy crap that's insane. Up most respect. Sometimes just bouldering at a gym freaks me out. People call me crazy.
@that crazy Marine, only deep water soloing, where the water essentially acts as your safety net if you fall but never full on big wall soloing
