I’ve been on vacation all week. Watching CCTV operations in London on Netflix and YouTube, and holy shjt the cops in England are super softies. And everybody is attacking each other with knives and machetes. The narrator talks about guns like they’re unholy evils.
People in London always have eyes on them at ALL times and only criminals own guns. Pretty eye opening.
@VibratingButtChomper, I remember reading somewhere that police officers in London don't wear anything bullet proof but knife-proof since they're absurdly more likely to be stabbed than shot.
@Chicken0War, it's genuinely foolish to try and hide from what modern weaponry is, because someone else will embrace it and they may not be your friend
@VibratingButtChomper, Shotguns and sport rifles are legal with licenses. I don’t know why people think you can’t own guns. It was a handgun law. There’s strict laws yeah but gun violence is extremely low. You are also much less likely to die from a stab wound. Stab rates are higher than shooting rates and still stabbings only account for 10% of puncture deaths.
@The Trash Goblin, deaths
@The Trash Goblin, knife crime is still on the rise. Despite gun laws in place there are shootings. Police are unable to persecute gang members if they are foreign, and they are just instigating Hate Speech laws. London would rather be Orwellian first and then create a sufficient protective service than to actually provide a well funded police service.
@Samblob, I didn’t address any of that and was unable to find anything on the ability to persecute foreign gang members. I would actually like to read about that if you remember where you saw that because that would be fascinating. I do find your words unconvincing though as you speak in absolutes and use went on a little bit of a red herring there.
Well this is not a real American. A true American would have gone for the six inches
of muzzle energy of a .357 magnum to the right lol 😂🤦♂️
@PotatoFinger, My friend, I'm 95% sure that's a .38 revolver
@PotatoFinger, you can have your .357 with 6 shots. I’ll take my g19 with 15 plus one any day over that lol
@PotatoFinger, I’ve never seen muzzle energy expressed in units of distance
@A simple jar of dirt, ok boomer
@ImNotRacistBut, I guess you’re not a lord of war
@PotatoFinger, I’m something of a scientist myself.
@ImNotRacistBut, lol I like the movie reference reply to my movie reference line
Shall not be infringed, Fed Boy
When someone makes a meme of your school vending machine and you see it on funny pics..
I wish it was that easy to get guns all the criminals already have them it’s the good citizens that need them but can’t get them in certain states like New York where there’s a lot of gangs and gun violence but it’s nearly impossible for someone with no record to get a carriers permit
Also how we see bad people getting guns anyway no matter how strict the law is.
Well it's our right
Where is this from? Its pretty funny
I mean, yeah. Pretty accurate.
@ShouldBStudying, i mean no, not at all
@Guy Fawkes, everytime I've bought a firearm it was pretty much that easy. Just needed to sign a few papers and if you don't get randomly selected for a background check you're good. Even easier if you're building it yourself
@ShouldBStudying, 80% kits are designed to skirt the law, and in some states its far quicker but in the majority of states you have a waiting period on handguns and a background check is done everytime you purchase a firearm not just on randomly selected applicants. Im a legal gun owner too, and really one of the only things that could make the process anywhere close to that easy is if you have a CCL because that waives the background check
@ShouldBStudying, Those few papers are a 4473 which is an ATF mandated record of the transaction and every transaction requires a NICS background check there's no being randomly selected.
@Kliment Voroshilov, Sure, if you're buying them from a firearm dealer. Maybe I should have been more specific, I meant at gun shows and in the state I live in no background checks are necessary for those and is up to the sellers discretion
@ShouldBStudying, Ok but that's a matter of private property not strictly of firearms. The government doesn't have the right to regulate who you sell anything you own to and that extends to firearms.
@Guy Fawkes, I have one of these cool machines that finishes 80%. I don’t even have to put the dollar bill in it.
@ImNotRacistBut, ive seen those theyre cool as hell. Can yours do different 80% kits? (Like AR and 1911 etc.)
@Guy Fawkes, all of them, especially the new third iteration.
@ImNotRacistBut, what third iteration? Sorry im not super knowledgeable on those kits
ahhhh thats badass man
@Guy Fawkes, google “Ghost Gunner 3”
@ImNotRacistBut, thank you
U can be a criminal and still buy a gun. Fun fact
@Implicit88, Um, how?
@Kliment Voroshilov, background checks are not mandatory.
@Implicit88, Except they are. If you are dealing with an FFL every purchase requires a 4473 and a NICS background check.
@Kliment Voroshilov, private sales do not require background checks. Some states may have laws on the books but nationally there is no law. Commercial sales from a business do require background checks.
@Implicit88, Well you did not specify private sales. Private sales are more a private property issue than a firearms issue, the government doesn't have the right to regulate who you can sell your property to.
@Kliment Voroshilov, the picture did not specify either. Only dealers need to do background checks. I support peoples gun rights, but i also support not dying to a gun. Then there is the black market which is even worse.
@Implicit88, Its incredibly unlikely that you will die by a gun. Assault with a firearm was ranked 108th out of 113 by the CDC in a 2017 listing of most common cause of death.
@Kliment Voroshilov, i agree its not very probable but its an easy legislative fix.
@Implicit88, What is?
@Kliment Voroshilov, fixing the loophole
@Implicit88, Its not though. Because as I said before the government does not have the right to tell you who you can sell your property to.
@Implicit88, there is no loophole. Only freedom. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@Kliment Voroshilov, they do this in other areas i don’t see why they could not here.
@ImNotRacistBut, not sure if you are joking or just have a negative IQ
@Implicit88, I legit have an IQ of 134. At least that’s what it was 7 years ago. I’ve hit my head a few times since then.
@Kliment Voroshilov, oh sure, once someone buys a gun it stops being a firearm.
@Kliment Voroshilov, is that why its illegal to sell drugs? Cause governments cant stop people from selling private property?
@AWildMagikarp, No it continues to be a firearm but it is now you personal property which you can do with what you wish.
Your second comment has the same semantic value as asking "whys it illegal to sell stolen goods?"
Because the goods were illegally obtained. In the same way it's illegal to sell drugs because the drugs are illegal. Whether they should be is a diffrent discussion. A firearm is a legally purchased and possessed pice of private property ergo the government cannot regulate the resale.
@Kliment Voroshilov, i can legally obtain morphine but cant sell it legally.
@Implicit88, So you can go to the store and just buy morphine? They don't let me do that.
@Kliment Voroshilov, if you have a prescription yea.
@Implicit88, Theres my point, you have a prescription. Ergo the distribution of the morphine is supposed to be regulated before it gets to you.
So.... The "rest of the world" is stupid...?
The rest of the world must have 20/20 vision
That is how it works in some states. Those States tend to have the most murders.
@hollow114, very incorrect
@hollow114, 100% incorrect. Google CA gun law restrictions and gun deaths per capita. Then compare it to Illinois. Then compare them both to Arizona, Idaho, Kansas...
@hollow114, exactly right if you don’t let those pesky statistics and facts in the conversation. Great research, Ginsberg!
They regulate a bunch of other property related things. Not sure why this has an exception.
.38 in an automatic? That’s kinda rare... should’ve been a 9, 40, or 45. And is just me or are there two .22 buttons? No one would pick that... we don’t need two buttons for that. No one want that.
Pretty sure this is from The Critic.
Should have been the one to the right
Are these the vending machines in schools?
@Albatraous, where else would they be?
