@All my Mizore, had my first experience playing competitive smash last month in part of a weeks-long tournament. Not even a highly competitive pool, with a very small prize. My poor Samus lost all the sets (most of the games...too) aside from the one set I got matched with another Samus. Part of me hurts because of this meme, while the other part is thinking “You dumbass, Samus isn’t viable for tournament play anyway”. At this point I’m just glad to have fun playing because so many of my opponents were just robots that didn’t look like they were enjoying playing the game...even when they won. Kind of defeats the point, you know?

@All my Mizore, she does have a strong f smash and up smash is good for upper platform protecting. Plus her recovery game is super strong (falling f air too) against any AI and casual players. Her two biggest issues that are exploitable are that she can’t jab (All someone has to do is hold shield during the first jab and they’ll always shield the follow up), plus, any competent player can safely chase her off the stage during recovery. Add on top of that and many of the top-tier fighters have some form of reflect that comes out very fast, making projectiles only effective at point blank range. Given all that, she’s still my main fighter. Just so fun to play, followed closely behind by DK and Ike. Fun comes first for me when playing Smash.
Me in Smash and soul caliber.
