Hi friends, I know stuff like this gets posted often and all, but thank you all for being here and supplying laughs. I got back home from graduate school today for break and had to put down my dog I've had for the past 14 years. It's tougher than I ever imagined
@The Blue Sour Patch, remember the good times! During my undergraduate we had to put down my 17 year old dog. I feel your pain man. It will get better, lots of memories, treasure them all.
@The Blue Sour Patch, We got you bro.
@The Blue Sour Patch, just remember the good times and your dog just wanted you to be happy. I lost my dog last year, it sucks but it gets easier. We got a new dog and I treat her extra good in memory of my last dog.
@The Blue Sour Patch, Holy crap that's terribly sad, but actually heart warming. Your dog loved you so much that they waited to see you one last time before finally letting go. I know it's hard, but at least saw got to see them one last time, and I'm sure being comforted by you in their last moments meant the world to your dog.
@The Blue Sour Patch, he’s chasing all the squirrels in dog heaven. Which doubles as squirrel hell
Well this really depends. Was the way Yoda spoke a quirk of his race or his own?
we might never know.
@Caligo, well actchuwalee... There are other members of his race in books comics and videogames, and they all share that quirk.
@TheOutcastHero71, I am going to get so much hate for this. Are any of the books, comics or games you refer to... canon?
@Caligo, I don't think so. But there are many things that are "legends" which they still adhere to. I don't see them changing this one.
@TheOutcastHero71, true, I can see that logic, sure. But if we assume all those ”yodas” was raised by other ”yodas” then that my be a speach pattern formed by upbringing.
If a human was raised by wookies, would it growl like the wookies or speak english?
@Caligo, there is another of the species that is Canon, but there is barely any information about her. Her name is yaddle and you can see her in episode 1, on the Jedi council. As far as woolies learning basic. It's only logical that they aren't capable of making any sounds but growls roars and whimpers. Otherwise, as long as they live, they should learn to speak it anyway. I don't think there has ever been a case of a woolies speaking basic.
@TheOutcastHero71, no that is the point I am making.
Wookies can’t speak common due to their vocal cords. so would a human who lives with only wookies speak like a wookie? I would say yes.
Therefore baby yoda is going to pick up his language skills from Mando. so therefore should not have the speaking pattern like his race is commonly know to have.
either way, we can speculate all we want. if the series is long enough and the keep baby yoda maybe we will find out.
edit: I am sorry for all the ”therefore”. makes me sound like a dick. not trying to be a dick.
@Caligo, baby Yoda SHOULD pick up his speaking patterns from Mando, however it being fictitious we can probably expect him to speak like Yoda.
@Caligo, I also don't think he is gonna start talking in this series.
