Except it’s not a guitar solo. There are two guitars duelling.
@stercus stercus, a guitar duet
@stercus stercus, And it's fvcking awesome
" inconvenient location, good wine selection, mostly hires teenage hippy staff that likes to dance, the walls are thin, the place may be haunted, and the reception is horrible."
- the Eagles
Hotel California is actually about Jean Paul Sartre's play "no exit". Almost to a T.
You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
It's about hedonism. That's it. Happy new year.
I’m terrible with symbolism you show me a raven I’m just gonna see a raven what does it mean
Ive always interpreted it as about purgatory or some other afterlife. Dude falls asleep at the wheel and dies and ends up in the hotel in the middle of nowhere as a metaphor for death and waiting to be judged.
I thought it was a metaphor for life.
But it's such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
@Anonymous Jack III, such a lovely face
I always heard it was about the satanic church because allistair Crowley was on the cover of the album
I always thought it was about a brothel and prostitution...
@iLikeBigBooks, it's about no exit. A play.
My dad always told me it was about vampires, a friend of mine still maintains it's about cancer but I found out its about the lizard King and the under belly of the city
