That’s not just the most dangerous flightless bird in Australia, it’s literally the deadliest bird on the entire planet.
@Gatsby, id beat it with a stick trust me. Then im having a bbq. By stick i mean staff or spear.
@Gatsby, is it though? Look up the amount of people it’s killed and you may be surprised.
@Larsinites, but...how many other birds kill people frequently?
@theduuuude, Cassawarys don’t kill people frequently. There are two confirmed human deaths by cassawarys. They are cool and can be dangerous, but almost only attack when provoked. And seldom result in death.
@Larsinites, okay, that didn’t answer my question.
How many other birds attack humans unprovoked?
@theduuuude, well to be honest I don’t think any birds really attack humans unprovoked. To be honest, I’m not familiar on other birds much. I’m looking into right now but it’s hard to find any other records of birds just attacking or killing humans. Only thing I found was some eagles have possible preyed on young children. I just thought cassowarys were crazy cuz I heard they were deadly, but after researching them they really aren’t. As far as attacks go, you’re probably right that they are still the highest.
Australia doesn’t have a great track record when it comes to forcibly removing those of the avian persuasion.
Bird is code for female in cockney
