Actual star wars fans:
-Has multiple blades for maximized airflow/push
-has some sort of reference to Star Wars imprinted upon it
-May be handheld, on a desk or on the ceiling
-often makes a “whirrr...” sound
@Prince super Vegeta , I hate you
@Prince super Vegeta , I love you
@Prince super Vegeta , They're called vibroblades, and they're cool mom!
@Prince super Vegeta , he was taught by Count Dooku
Also just saying, anyone can call themselves a star wars fan. It's just know your place/who knows more than you because there will always be people more involved.
I consider myself a fan because I'm invested in the stories and have looked up many aspects of the different movies/am familiar with the lore, but the books just don't interest me. Games and Shows are great.
But there are so many people out there who know more than I, but I support them and default to them.
@Tentastic, if you don't own a real lightsaber then you're not a real fan. It's that simple
@PacificaPelican, I have a Lego lightsaber.
This is the kind of fanboi who tries to ruin it for a casual fan. Let people enjoy things a-hole.
@Funny Pics Janitor, it’s called gatekeeping and it ruins everything
@Funny Pics Janitor, But casual fans, aren't truly fans.
"To be a real Star Wars fan you have to complain all the time and never be happy"
Star wars fan definition:
- a person who likes Star Wars
Acshually- Comic book guy's name is Jeff.
Get your factz str8 b4✋
Honestly, I feel like gatekeeping The Simpsons is oxymoronic
This is why Lotr "fans" are better and star wars fans are trash. You tell a lotr fanatic you liked the movies, they will give you their copy of the book then give you a summary of the silmarillion without you asking. Never met a lotr gatekeeper.
@hollow114, Yes, because this one case is clearly more representative than the comments section you didn't read full of reasonable fans
@Factory BOY, not the only case, my dude.
I played a lot of the video games, both of the KOTORs may be some of my favorite games of all time
Here's my standards, and I will hold the whole world to them, this is to decide for them whether they like something.
That mentality is the root behind many of mankind's failures
I've watched the family guy versions of star wars... thats it
No, they must have pretend flew a xwing or tie fighter at one point and at least done the vader voice into a fan once. Past that its just recommended to watch the shows because gosh they are so good.
I've only done one of those things, but I'd love to see this jackhole beat me in Star Wars Trivial Pursuit. Then we'll see who the real fan is.
I mean, he kind of has a point. Unless I misunderstand fan, it's short for fanatic, which basically means being obsessed with something to an abnormal degree. So I feel like watching the movies and liking them, but not exploring anything more about it kind of means you aren't a fan, just enjoyed the movie.
I feel like this guy is more an aficionado, than a fan.
We all love and hate the same
When people mix being a fan with a fanatic
@chippy14789, fan is short for fanatic. Technically we'd all be enthusiasts.
"Worst meme everrr"
Personally, I love the universe. I do quite alot of SWRPG and it can require extensive study on Star wars.
