Ahh sportsmanship. I love it, but I also secretly yearn for mass brawls in every game I watch
@StiffWood, honesty I would prefer to watch everyone having fun instead of resenting one another
@Depressed Cashier, That’s why I like hockey, players get their aggression out in a fight and then they can focus on the game after they get out of the box
@TriangleTesticles, all sports should allow hockey style fighting. 10 seconds of punches and penalty time solves all worlds problems
Isn't this the guy who's bat got caught by the pitcher? And he stood there all surprised asking "did you catch that?!?" And the pitcher said "yes. Yes I did"
@Mhael, bat or ball?
@Pervy Sage Jiraiya, ball. I was half asleep :P
@Mhael,such a great moment! I couldn’t remember who it was for the life of me, so I did a little research - It was actually Troy Trevor Tulowitzki (played for the Colorado Rockies at the time) who asked the pitcher (Jose Fernandez) “did you catch that?” :)
For those curious, this is Anthony Rizzo at bat. One of my favorite cubbies. :)
I’m from England. I always felt Baseball was thee game in the 90s, from tv and film. Like I honestly thought it was bigger than American football. Tell me, what’s the situation with Baseball these days? 😕
That should clear it up for you.
@Brightwell, It depends on where you live but for the most part baseball is kind of dying. The attendance of the big league MLB teams has declined over time for most teams. Football has been doing alright however. It’s ratings have declined maybe a little bit but I don’t see it going away
@TriangleTesticles, thanks for the culture update pal 👍🏻
