Time does seem to drag when you have to endure the pain of having no skin
@Snarfel Burger, can you really feel pain if you have no nerves?
I've always found this quite enjoyable - one should always rejoice at presenting themselves to Shrek
@LowGravitasWarning, You are not allowed to comment anymore.
These never were really that difficult.
@Dr Kriegerstein, must be doing them wrong. Even when i was extremely fit doing these for an extended period of time was hard. Key thing is to tighten/flex your abs when you do this so you back doesnt absorb most of the weight
@Implicit88, no I'm very familiar with how to do the workout. I've planked for quite a while without too much difficulty. There are far more difficult ab workouts.
@Dr Kriegerstein, suuurrrreeeee
@Dr Kriegerstein, put a 25 on your back if you can hold a normal one for 2+ min, great ab workout
@Joeyc1, could always try that. I usually use a 45 on an incline sit up.
Ive never really felt a burn in my core when doing that.
@BlazingBowman, then you’ve never done to right
@BlazingBowman, then lower your butt a bit. Depending on how you’re shaped, perfectly flat may not activate your core and other muscles may be kicking in
@BlazingBowman, always hurt my elbows more than anything
@MetalHeadTony, i know right. After like 6 minutes i start feeling something.
@FPVeteranWolf, really all the guides online say to do it flat.
@BlazingBowman, most experienced personal trainers say that planks themselves are not the best exercise for core and it’s not always challenging enough if you’re very athletic, so you can always try out some mad variations that will 100% make time go by hellishly slow (checkout Athlean X on YouTube🤓)
@Dickwad, ok ill check him out thx.
@Dickwad, WHAT'S UP GUYS JEFF CAVALIER ATHLEANX.COM
@Dickwad, anthlean x is a true pro. I love the alteration where you rest your elbows on a ball and move your elbows on it spelling the alphabet. Brings a whole new world of pain
@BlazingBowman, hes the best. He actually trained various professional athletes and actually educates you about fitness. Ive been watching him for a few years now. One of the best things is he tries to engage the core if every workout when possible.
@BlazingBowman, when they say flat they dont mean parallel to the ground they mean keep your back straight
@Implicit88, yeah you never know with internet workout guys with what bullsh!t routine they try to push on you. Not like i could tell the difference between a good routine and a bad one.
@BlazingBowman, well hes the real thing. I dont use anyone else after i found this guy. Everything is free but for a price he can give you a program. But honestly if you just watch his videos there is no need for the program.
@TLabs , ive tried both. Neither has really made me feel the burn in the abs area like ive been told. More like the back and my elbows.
@Implicit88, kool ill check him put
Or sat through Catholic Mass
I remember a time where doing a plank was nothing i litearly wondered how this is an excercise. But then again. Did do alot of abs
