Just remember: according to Camus, the only philosophical question that matters is whether or not we should all kill ourselves
@SageNine, Plato/Socrates also argued that true philosophers practice death. If I'm remembering right the argument is something like true philosophers only seek knowledge. The urges of the body distract from the pursuit of knowledge. Therefore separating the soul from the body allows the philosopher more pursuit of knowledge. (Keep in mind they're mental-physical dualists and the soul is immortal and it's not entirely clear whether practice is used in the context of practicing being dead or practicing as in an application of death (i.e. killing oneself)).
I'm sure that I don't.
Well if you didnt exist you wouldn't want to exist because things that don't exist don't have wants.
Lost $500 in the stock market today. That me wondering if I should invest more or kill myself.
@NameyMcNameFace, Warren Buffet route: invest in toilet paper. Depending on your capital, portfolio diversification keeps you in the game. Made a bet on Apple, but then they released the ipad mini. Shjt happens, but there’s always a demand for toilet paper. Invest smartly, or invest in addiction based markets.
@NameyMcNameFace, if you can invest hundreds in the stock market I think you’re doin alright mate. Keep your head up.
Yes, but no
