My physics professor sent out pdf copies of his book because it was required for the class and he didn't like that the bookstore charged so much for it. I still have printouts from the book sitting around.
@ORGANIC, I had a prof that said he tried to give his book to us in a pdf format but the school wouldnt let him
See this ended up being bad for the class whenever it happened because when they write the book they know every facet of it. Then they forget what amount is reasonable to learn and the tests get ridiculous. Professors that use someone else’s textbook have to read through it like the student to know what all is there so they are more reasonable about it.
Yeah. Well, when you get the necessary degrees and study enough to finally become a professor of whatever the hell, you get to do shjt like that.
@tha5th, that sounds like the sort of thing a professor would say!
@tha5th, spot the salty professor
@flippity flip floops, lol not even close. I have a high school diploma and that's about it. Just trying to see other sides of a situation
@tha5th, it's still a conflict of interest.
Doing that in my communications class. Went to the library and rented it then scanned all the pages with my phone and uploaded to internet. Fvck you bjtch
One of my professors does this, but her book is $3 so it's awesome
