Didn’t say how much you matter
@Ashaman, you matter about $8 an hour.
$8.00 an hour to flip burgers my dude. These people aren’t putting astronauts on the moon
@Jolee Bindo, you say it like its nothin. That sh!ts a difficult job.
@Jolee Bindo, $8 to deal with entitled jerks who can't be nice to those beneath them
@Hellboi, neither of these comments provides any reason why they should be paid more. They still don’t require any type of skills. Half the time they can’t even get customer service right.
Edit: customer service or the order itself. Imagine if I messed up a million dollar sales deal because I typed the order wrong or forgot something. Think I’d keep my job?
@Jolee Bindo, yeah, but even back then they’re minimum wage was decent for the cost of things. In terms of purchasing power and inflation the minimum wage in the US has been declining relative to past sums. From the 40s till the 90s minimum wage had@the purchasing power of ~$10-15 of today’s money, whereas now you get paid less than $8 an hour for some states.
@Jolee Bindo, you're right, let's pay meth and crack heads to make our food...🙄😏🤐
Let's take a vote.
Would you pay extra to have a flipped burger cooked right by an individual that cares and just helping his way though college or other means? Upvote for yes.
Would you rather a crack head, alcoholic cook your fast food, and ask for a tip? Downvote for this.
@Multiple personality, *him,her, she,he,Apache helicopter.
@theduuuude, why are people booing you...you're right!
@theduuuude, reason: if burger King doesn't pay them. Your taxes do.
@Multiple personality, alcoholics and crack heads need jobs too, as long as they’re not posing a health risk I’d take the cheap any day, I don’t go to fast food expecting a perfect filet mignon
@Jolee Bindo, it's a tough, shjtty job, the wages could be much more reasonable, your argument relies on a stereotype rather than peoples actual situations.
@Jolee Bindo, honestly it's about conflating minimum wage and living wage. I'd honestly would have taken a job below minimum wage if it gave me experience for a field I'm interested in when I was younger
@Multiple personality, I love how you tried using pronouns as a scapegoat for why you were being hated but you just have a bad argument.
@Multiple personality, I’ve worked with and hired crack and meth heads to roof houses for $12/Hr. Pretty sure if they can do that they can flip a burger.
@Hellboi, it's funny pics, not serious arguments, it was all in fun. I don't feel hated. Thank's for your input.
@Hellboi, you're one of those people that can take three dicks at once, but can't take a joke.
@Jolee Bindo, well let's take a look at this. When is the last time you had a burger? Now, when is the last time you made it to the moon? Everyday conveniences that make your life better were done by people that can barely afford rent.
@Stealthnuker, are you saying people who flip burgers should make equal to the people who can put another person on the moon?
Oh my god! That's way too much to pay burger king employees.
The BK near me is offering 13.75. I spent 4 years in college for only 3.25 more 😂
@President Jar Jar , Fvcking right?! Absolutely ridiculous
There are more than enough possibilities to earn more and raise through the ranks at BK just depends on the person(obviously it’s a case by case scenario)
Burger King said loved, not how much you're worth
That's more than most minimum wages. Shouldn't complain
They're not forcing people to work there, that's the problem with most people, they think low wages are the company's fault, it's your dumb ass fault for not trying and washing out at every opportunity, we'll done here's a low wage
Not every job is worth a high wage.
Yes but they’re beautiful, loved, and matter. Money Is for the rest of us who suck.
So what? They’re kids who need to learn they aren’t special snowflakes. Once they do and start acting right, they get bumped into management where they are paid more. If they don’t learn, they stay at minimum wage.
That's a respectable comment
