It's not a brand new game anymore. It's like, 4 years old so this really only applies to people who recently bought the game
@ Ump89, exactly
@ Ump89, odds are if you bought it recently it was on sale and contained a handful of operators that you dont get with base game so you essentially got a boost while FTP has to grind to unlock if they dont want to spend money
@Ghoaxst, You still have to grind regardless. When the game came out you only only started with Recruit and had to get renown to buy the cheaper starting operators.. although the tutorials gave you enough to buy a couple, but if you got it recently, or ftp when it comes out you're at a big disadvantage unless you pay a boatload of money to unlock all year 1,2,3 operators and then play to unlock the base ones (which I don't think you can buy as of now..)
Tldr; You had to grind always since release
@ Ump89, I was keeping in mind that people who buy it more recently get a bundle or "season pass" for cheaper than the game was at release.
So technically newer players are more poised than we were at launch so it kind of balances out because people who get it free essentially have to start from scratch and those who bought a bundle have whatever boosters came with it
@Ghoaxst, I guess that's true. They are going to have to make something to boost newer people for a free version because personally I stopped playing because of the people who play all the time and have all the best operators when I can't use them and be as useful as that person without substantial time grinding for all the new people or give up and buy it.. I'm going to stick to not playing since I'm not good though lol.
@ Ump89, no prob I got overwhelmed with operators after season 3 and it lost my interest. I hop on every now and again. And I can imagine just picking recruit because the 1 or 2 ops you have always get picked by your team gets dull so I dont blame you there
@Ghoaxst, but with that said recruit isnt a bad pick you have access to every gun and utility which makes him a good jack of all trades. (Didnt want to downplay how useful recruit is)
@ Ump89, they want to game to go on for another 10 to 15 years, finally uninstalled it when clash got removed again for the the 3 or 4th time, if they arent going to fix something when they have the money and people to fix it I'm just not going to play it
"movies are eventually shown on tv"
people who went to the theatre:
@Tentastic, tv after you dl them from - FBI here, this sentence has been stricken from the Internet in the interest of national security. Move along folks. Nothing to see here
@Tentastic, but the theatre adds so much more, I would kill to see the dark knight trilogy on the big screen again
Although this will probably get lost as someone who plays siege religiously and keeps up with the patch notes the developers started that they're not going to do this until they figure out a way to deal with smurfing (making alt accounts usually for higher ranks or to throw games with) which is already a problem
I think I have like 5 games that I bought on sale that ended becoming free through PS Plus
@Soy un Ranchero, Shadow of the Colossus next month too.
@ArrowOdd, make that 6
TF2 players: Hey I’ve seen this one before!
@theprofprofessor, and destiny 2 players
Is the game easy to get into? Or are you gonna get curb stomped by everyone since the game has been out for so long?
@Doodlederp1921, you’re gonna get curb stomped
They dont want to do it until they figure out how to stop scrub accounts
Me when I bought Fallout 3 on sale and then it went on sale again for $3 cheaper two weeks later
Switch to Tarkov, the game for real gamers.
To make it fair for them give them exclusive content
