Fyi the decibel scale is logarithmic, so 1100db is 8 with 109 zeros times more powerful than 1db
@HSA, I feel like you used small words and I’m still confused
@HSA, when I was younger I used to build car sound systems in my spare time. The one in my explorer reached 153.something dB. I believe that's around the same level and a fighter jet taking off from an aircraft carrier.
Needless to say, I can't hear for shjt anymore
@theduuuude, 1100db is more intense than 1db by 80000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times
@HSA, can you give me info on my HSA? About to switch employers and not really sure what I need to do to keep my HSA 'functional' i guess
@3345Stewie, you would have to consult with your HR department on the process, they should have a form for you to fill out to roll over the HSA to the new account. Also, I am not a health savings account.
@HSA, theres no sound in space since theres no air
@CanadianPedobear, think their talking about the power needed to make such a sound would cause it
@theduuuude, logarithm is a function, you put one number in, do special math and get another out. In base 10 logarithm you have to put 10x the amount to get an increase of 1 in the output so if you put 5 units in to get an output of 1, you need to put 50 units in to get an output of 2 and 500 to get 3. This means that it is 8x10x10x10x10.... until you get 1100. the richter scale is logarithmic so that is why you barely feel say a 2.0 quake while a 7.0 can devastate, it is 100,000 times as strong, not 3.5 times.
@Not him again, 153? Damn dude, I'm surprised you can hear at all. 140 is immediate and permanent hearing damage.
@Gamasennin, I can't hear high pitched noises, and I have tinnitus like a motherfvcker.
"What?" Is a common word in my dialogues
@CanadianPedobear, no one said anything about being in space
This deserves a screaming cowboy
I think the only sound that can create a blackhole is a father’s sneeze
If you watched nichijuo like a filthy weeb you know...
Idk man, Undertakers Dong is pretty loud.
