I might sound pretentious as fck here... but I'm spoiled living here in Scotland we have so many amazing whiskys, and If you can turn that whisky into a sexy little Aberlour or a smokey highland park then I'm panic buying 1000 of these.
@bonja, couldn't agree more, Aberlour is brilliant, the Sherry cask makes such a difference
@Cactuspanker, Balvenie is pretty good too. I got a 21 year old bottle of it that opened up last year and oaft.
@bonja, I know some people have a problem with no age statement whiskeys but I'm partial to A'bunadh and laphroaig quarter cask.
@bonja, I do like Balvenie 21, however my favourite personally is Auchentoshan Blood Oak...
Delicious, and it's seeing through the tough times of isolation well!
@havoc8008, I've had that, fantastic. Tbh again no patriotism in this but I just feel the quality of a proper scottish malt is super high and can be found all over scotland. Although the other day I had some japanese whiskey and that was damn good too
@bonja, is aberlour a brand or type? Idk much about whiskey, all I know is it's one of the few alcoholic beverages I like
@The Puppet Man, Brand
@bonja, is it pricey?
@The Puppet Man, can pick up a 12 yr old bottle here for £30
@bonja, I would love to try some Irish whiskeys. Scotland is definitely in the top of my list to visit, for scenery, but mostly the whiskey
Ron Swanson would be proud
@PotatoFinger, why would people ever eat anything other than breakfast food
That’s not a strike anywhere match.
