Legitimately reduce the punishment as long as your kid as in lie. If you don't you're lying to him and setting a bad president

Pro parenting tip: when I was growing up (probably 4-6 yrs old), my parents told me that if I lied a cross appeared on my forehead. It made it very easy to tell when I was lying bc I would have found some way to cover my forehead.
And I never made that mistake again... in henisieght that’s probably a terrible strategy cause once you fall for it once you will never do it again
