@StickyRicky, most maps are printed in the Americas or Europe. Even if they weren't they would still have China print them based on where the maps would be sold.

Here in England, we're in the centre. Much like in any other country, that country is in the centre. Also, with British maps, nobody gets cut in half, the world manages to fit perfectly.
