Maybe its more comfortable if you wear it properly 🤔
@Codeine, nah not really. Ya got that hot breath blowing right into your eyes in most situations. And if you got those sh!ty surgeon mask like the ones up above it really digs into your ear. I have no idea how a surgeon can have one of those on for 20 hours straight.
@CocoasBro, welder.....come at me
@WelI Obviously, ?
@CocoasBro, sorry....welding helmet joke. Didn't hit lol
@WelI Obviously, ok np wanna explain?
@CocoasBro, welding helmet = big mask wear all day
@CocoasBro, surgeons' masks have an upper tie and lower tie. If you tie it correctly, it does not dig into your ears. If you crease the nose bridge correctly it does not blow into your eyes. The number one rule in any medical procedure is to make sure you are as comfortable as possible, so you are not distracted from the task at hand
@occasionalmutant, ties? All ive seen is one loop for the left eae and another for the right ear.
@WelI Obviously, ahh
Forget that wearing an n95 for a whole shift is 100x worse.
@CrazyRightWinger, nothing like cutting off circulation to your face for 8 hours
@CrazyRightWinger, are those worse? I always thought they looked more comfortable.
@CocoasBro, they are extremely tight on your face to keep a seal, after an hour or so you will have imprints on your face from the mask and the bands
@CrazyRightWinger, we electricians would rather breath in 60 year old insulation than wear a mask in the attic. Maybe that's why we're always coughing, and struggling to breath 🤔
I wear some pretty uncomfortable PPE for work too and I still rip my mask off like I’m trying to start a lawn mower the exact instant I walk out of a store.
Fvcking Karens everywhere in my town smh...
Hey my moms name is Karen and I don’t appreciate these memes they’re not funny they’re hurtful and offensive not all Karen’s r like that #karenslivesmatter... 😬try not to laugh try not to laugh
As a mechanic in Texas, masks suck. Hate em absolutely to the core.
@aerohill, mechanic in Virginia agrees. If you wear the mask in an air conditioned operating room, its not the same as wearing it in a stuffy 90° shop over a hot engine.
@superjulimaximo, all cramped up under the dash, safety glasses fogging up, can't breathe, rage building, shop thermo says 105, etc. Would prefer to be at a lower paying ma and pop type shop if it meant a less strict ppe policy
Must be a couple a Karens doing the down votes
Not defending the Karen but they also my 6 figures
@lilwhiteboyz, so do some gold digging Karens.
@lilwhiteboyz, probably from the dangers of inhaling carbon dioxide all the time.
They also don't tend to have medical conditions that can make masks really bad to wear though.. They are also required to ear them by their job. The public is not required.
I work in the Medical field, fixing their equipment, and they hate it just as much, and take them off as much as they can to actually breathe.
Aren't oxygen requirements different for walking as opposed to standing in relatively one spot?
Well, if I made hundreds of thousands to over a million per year, I'd wear a mask for that long as well
