According to a story I read, the dude has a hearing aid, and when the guy flicked his ear, he dialed the hearing aid all the way up and it was actually rather debilitating for this dude.
@I Are Lebo, oh damn, thanks for that info! Makes me not laugh at him that had to have really sucked
@I Are Lebo, he did not have a hearing aid. This flop became so infamous for him it got him the nickname Bo 'Ouch' Nielson.
@I Are Lebo, Couldn't he have just turned it back down if that were the case? He seemed to be at it for a while, just clutching his ear.
@x2 6x 9 lol, yep, true. Who needs the truth when making up a load if crap gets you too comment..
The finest soccer dive of all time was performed in the late 1990s by Danish player Bo Nielsen, who hit the deck following a finger flick from opponent Diego Tur.
To this day, Nielsen’s agony is celebrated worldwide by fans of pansy soccer theatrics:
@TheMightyImp, I think it’s more likely that I get “too comment” rather than you simply because I’m not a salty bitch that doesn’t proofread his own comments.
I’m not making up crap, that’s what I heard. It may be wrong, but it’s not a lie.
Seems like either way, he’s still a pansy.
He's so brave to keep going after that vicious attack. A true role model.
How is this the most popular sport in the world?!
@CaliforniaDuck, “think about how stupid the average person is, and then realize that half of them are even dumber than that.”
-George Carlin (explaining why soccer is the most popular sport in the world)
In a nutshell, that's what's wrong with modern sports, especially soccer.
@MeneGR, One of the great things about hockey is that they put people in the penalty box for flopping. Even if there was a legit foul committed against you, the referee can still call an embellishment penalty against you if he feels you overreacted. Soccer refs need to start carding people for that like they do in hockey.
@TriangleTesticles, amen to that!
i hope that guy’s finger is okay. if he flicked him that hard, it must be broken.
Its like covid is the finger flick and the reaction is the media
Time, some Kung fu magic tings were at play
@Factory BOY, Kung Fu originated in India before being taken North and taught in China. So maybe magic tings at play mean keep your head up and just be glad Zenadine Zendane didn't head butt him in the chest.
