Bring back baby yoda. He’s the only one who can save us at this point
Just curious, what film is baby yoda in?
@LazyLemon , he's an adult in the original trilogy but the prequel trilogy is all about him growing up
@LazyLemon , He is in the series The Mandalorian, but none of the films that were aware of. And hes not literally a baby version of yoda either as the show takes place after the fall of the Republic. The species just doesnt have an actual name in the universe so the baby is referred to as "baby yoda"
@LazyLemon , a spin off Disney plus series has a baby of Yodas species in it
@Hoopscallion, if only
@Guy Fawkes, thanks, that's disappointing tho. I need the real baby yoda...
@LazyLemon , theres yoda from episode 4. Hes really old and old people are basically the same as babies
@Guy Fawkes, 😂 but it can't be ep 4 bcos I watched it yesterday and there was no yoda???
@Guy Fawkes, small correction, the show does not take place after the fall of the republic. Kuill (the Ugnaught) talks about taking a claim of salvage as per the laws of the New Republic.
Also, Din Djarin’s origin story took place sometime during the 3 year span of the Clone Wars, which we know because that’s the only span of time in which super battle droids were in production and used for warfare, as well as the direct involvement of the Death Watch, who were the clan that saved him.
Assuming that Mando is in his 30’s or early 40’s (there’s no way he’s as old as 50), the show could be taking place no more than a decade after episode 6, long before episode 7.
@Guy Fawkes, also, Yoda was introduced in episode 5. He isn’t in A New Hope.
@LazyLemon , yes, my mistake. I meant episode 5 as Lebo pointed out
@I Are Lebo, big oof then. My timeline is far off. Thank you for correcting my mistakes for Lemons sake
@Guy Fawkes, I’m hoping that the timeline gets more clear in season 2, but I don’t really see a timeline in which the child wasn’t born before Yoda died.
@Guy Fawkes, if I remember correctly yodas species is believed to be an extinct "elven species" i forgot what book or comic I read it in so I'm not 100% sure but they were quoted as elves or some type of subspecies of elves that are uber force sensitive
@Ghoaxst, there are no canon references to the history of Yoda’s species. The numbered movies simply never address it, and at the end of the original run of The Clone Wars, the resident Jedi doctor admits that there is little on file about the biology of Yoda’s species.
It was expanded upon somewhat in Legends, but canon has no answers yet.
@I Are Lebo, unfortunately. Its an awesome mystery that I'd love to see answered in Mandalorian. Maybe some more info about yaddle and young yoda. A boy can dream
@Ghoaxst, I’d really like that. I really hope season 2 of The Mandalorian explores the Child’s backstory more.
I don’t know if it learning to speak would make it a better or worse character, though. I guess it depends on execution.
@I Are Lebo, fingers crossed they do us right by Mando and baby "yoda"
