This is why you don't allow chaotic evil and chaotic neutral characters.
@Mhael, They can be a good pc, if they aren't chaotic stupid. A good response to a murder hobo is to have a victim of theirs become a revenant - they'll hunt the pc without rest for a full year, and can't be killed. Only way to survive is to tough it out for the year, or burn a wish to get rid of them.
Or you could have an appropriate response from law enforcement - the pc becomes a wanted criminal that can't show their face in public and has to constantly evade/fight/escape the law.
@Mhael, bruh, it requires good roleplay, don't ban those alignments outright. I'm in a campaign made of entirely CNs save for one CE character (who's basically just evil for comedy sake) and my CG character (who gives the party direction and acts as the motivation for the CNs to go along with the plot to save the world) and we're basically the Guardians of the Galaxy of this fantasy world. We're all criminals in one way or another, we do bank heists, we incite small rebellions so we can steal jewels and other valuables from palaces, but we also are doing our part to save the world from Nidhog the world-eater from inciting Ragnarok.
CN is an alignment defined by self interest but not at the expense of their friends. This is not, "I just stab him" all the time, or even most of the time, in fact, I'd only expect that out of CN characters when it comes to the bad guy monologuing.
CE is on very thin ice, but so long as they agree to never harm the party, they *can* be good additions
Or Furries, they’ll be too busy having sex with each other instead of playing the game
(Or asking what constitution would be required in order to maintain an erection in 3 penises and what is the viscosity of semen)
