To be fair, how would you, in a tactful way, describe the amount of dung a toilet could flush at once using the metric system?
@dichbute, A metric a$ston, of course.
@dichbute, will flush a 4 meter long turd with a 17 cm circumference.
@onetoendall, We could just say "a butt load"
@dichbute, to be faaaiir
Great I can flush my 8 balls before the cops find it
I fail to see how the metric system relates to Billiard balls. The balls were not used as a unit of measurement. It’s saying if you shït like donkey Kong that toilet will flush your shït.
@x2 6x 9 lol, liters per flush is a pretty standard unit for flushes.
@CHEisme, true but I could make a toilet that uses 10 liters per flush but not flush 7 billiard balls
@CHEisme, That just says the amount of water it uses (which our toilets say gallons per flush and liters per flush). It doesn’t say how much mass it takes with the water
@Commandshark, just saying why the metric system is relevant to the joke.
@CHEisme, Unless your dumps are pure liquid and never come out solid, liters per flush really isn’t relevant
@Commandshark, except, that’s how toilets are bought/sold/labeled/described/advertised
@CHEisme, That’s purely the water used. It doesn’t tell you the flushing power or capabilities.
@Commandshark, my dude.... liters per flush is how toilets are generally advertised. Here toilets are being advertised as balls per flush. Hence the joke. I’m not saying balls per flush isn’t a descriptive way of advertisement. Just saying the metric system is relevant to the source of the joke.
@CHEisme, Toilets are advertised as BOTH for different reasons. The amount of water used and what it can flush. The liters per flush or gallons per flush does nothing to tell you how much can be flushed while the balls per flush obviously doesn’t tell you how much water is used. They show two different things.
@Commandshark, one last try. We agree. 100%. The original comment I replied to didn’t see how the metric system applied to the joke. I was explaining how. And all you want to tell me is how pool ball is a better system of measuring shjt.
Edit: which in realistic terms, is true.
Leave it to America to be stagnant and left behind all the other developed countries, embracing
The metric system is far superior in every way and we should just make the switch already
In America we say pool balls not billiard balls
So your 42mm figures on your 6’x6’ mat with 1” hexes which represent 10 meters that get painted from 50mL glass containers using 1/16 inch brushes that you paid $300 for and had £50 shipping. Table top gamers are tired of this. Both have their uses. Get used to it.
