At my old job, we had two way radios and we could chirp each other and just start talking without the recipient having to acknowledge it first. Anyway, my buddy decided to sing the entire Bohemian Rapsody song to me. I was with a customer at the time and I couldn't stop him. All the buttons lock out while someone else is talking. The customer and I very awkwardly stared at each other for a good 5 minutes until by buddy finished the song. After he was done, the customet just said, "what. Was. That?" I replied, "that... was a good friend of mine, just trying to make my day better." I was really hoping that she would feel bad like I've been having a rough day and my friend was trying to make me feel better so she wouldn't call my supervisor and make a complaint. I never heard about it after that, so win!
@SWAT the fireman, I work at Fred Meyers and we have similar radios but when you press the button you can't hear anything, so me and this guy were singing along to Brandy that was playing and we didn't hear the call for customer assistance at razors until they held the button to ask for help themselves. I was told that they were laughing at it
