Has anyone ever actually been able to get their minecart to bring them through? I've had the cart go through but never with me in it

@InsaneWorm, i have. Not intentionally. I was making a rollercoaster for my sister and made and underground area that looked like the nether. I thought put in a portal, the cart will go too fast to get in the nether but i was wrong. So, i couldnt make it look like she had just gone in the nether for real. Luckily i didnt land in lava
