@MashedPotato, as a husky mom, it’s so bad for them. It seems like they’re hot in the summer, but they have a thinner summer coat and a thick winter coat that keeps them cool/warm. Buzzing them like that looks funny, but it can mess up a lot of their self regulation. My sweet boy is nearly 6 and lives in the South (of the US) and he’s never had heatstroke even with his coat as thick as it is (and with black hair!)

@MashedPotato, as a husky mom currently but having over 30 dogs in my lifetime (I grew up with a dad as a hunter so he had hunting dogs), no you're not supposed to do this to ANY dog. Hair regulates temp and acts as a natural sunblock for their skin. Even the poodles and doodles aren't shaved down to bare skin, there's a thin layer of fur left. As for huskies, the undercoat especially does this in an interesting way. Not even most dirt reaches his skin and he will sunbathe in 100+°F weather. He has been shaved for heat spots (due to humidity) and other issues at the vet and they say thats okay though. The worst they've seen is the fur color come in completely different than what the husky usually has. Very odd.
I’m not the human of a husky, but I don’t think doggo is supposed to be naked like that. It’s not good for temperature regulation
