While it's great if you want to show gratitude and help support your parents in their old age, never drag yourself down feeling guilty like you need to repay them for everything they've done throughout your life. That's what being a parent is about. Pay it forward, not backwards.
A parent brings you into the world, you were just fine being nothing, you didn't ask for existence, but because they were selfish now you have to deal with morality and existing. Paying the way for 18 years is the least they could do.
