If anyone wants a little fun fact, when people decided Chess took too long they allowed pawns, on their first move, to travel two spaces instead of just one. To preserve the tactical options an opponent would have while still accelerating the game the "en passant" was added. In reality it allows pawns to be captured after it's initial two space movement in its current position or where it should be if the two space rule never existed. You will piss people off if you use it but it is 100% legit. The "En Passant"
