@Original , ...I know I can't validate any real credibility here, but I've worked at, and owned, several small recording studios in SoCal. And being in the industry as an engineer and musician, I've seen how they have broken what most consider the ultimate musician's code; don't sell out. I know it's subjective to judge, and done frequently, but still its disgusting when someone choses to change what they are for commercial success. They have intentionally sought out producers and writers to reform their music and image to be more "commercial" for a broader appeal. Since music to most of us is a personal and an emotional attachment, it is disgusting and vile to be patronized by such artists. I don't think Nickelback is any worse than other people who chose that path, but they have definitely become the poster child of a cheap sell out band.
COMIC SAAAAAANNNSSSS!
